Adding aria-label attribute to links in paragraph fragments

Issue

  • We should have an option to add "aria-label" attribute to the <a> tag, when adding a link into an out of the box paragraph fragment used on a page:
    <a href="https://www.google.com" rel="noopener noreferer" aria-label="Go to google">
  • The purpose of this technique is to provide a label for objects that can be read by assistive technology. The aria-label attribute provides the text label for an object, such as a button. When a screen reader encounters the object, the aria-label text is read so that the user will know what it is.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.0+

Resolution

  • A feature request has been opened to bring this to the attention of our product team.
    If you consider this as a useful feature, please take a vote on LPS-181294.
