ADA Accessibility - I expect the Search, Info Icon, and Menu buttons to have the correct labels

Issue

Expected Result:

I expect the Search, Info Icon, and Menu buttons to have the correct labels, and for the Screen Reader to announce each with the following announcement:

• "Search Button"
• "Info Button"
• "Menu Button"

 

Actual Result:

the Screen Reader is announcing the Search, Info Icon, and Menu Buttons as "Unlabeled zero button"

Steps to Reproduce:
Tools: JAWS Screen Reader
1. Open the main page of a Liferay environment
2. Navigate to 'Open Product Menu' > Content and Data > Web Content

3. Navigate to the Search, Info, and Menu buttons and observe the issue

Resolution

• This issue has been addressed in U41
• Please contact Liferay Support to request a hotfix for versions prior to U41
