  • Creation of "Plan Allocation" Section: Introduced a new "Plan Allocation" section in the "Plan & Usage" page, ensuring dynamic updates post-deployment and automatic allocation of purchased resources (memory, CPU, and instances) according to the selected plan. This enhancement provides users with real-time visibility and control over their resource utilization.
  • Autoscale Configuration via UI: Enhanced the autoscaling feature by enabling users to configure the autoscale limit directly through the UI instead of modifying the LCP.json file. This update provides a more intuitive and accessible way for users to manage scaling settings, improving usability and flexibility in resource management
  • Enhanced Services Page with App Display: Updated the Services Page to now display all Client Extensions under their respective Service Groups, allowing for real-time tracking and management. Additionally, users can now install new Marketplace Apps directly by Order ID, streamlining the process of resource addition. Epic LCD-29231: Install marketplace apps and list client extensions  

Bug Fixes

  • StatefulSet Deployment Error Fix: Resolved an issue in Liferay Cloud where deployments of StatefulSets failed due to misleading error messages, enhancing reliability and clarity for users deploying builds in environments with existing services.   • Log Download 404 Error Fix: Fixed an issue where clicking the "download logs" button resulted in a 404 error page. Customers can now successfully download logs, enhancing their ability to monitor and troubleshoot applications on Liferay Cloud.
  • Preservation of Environment Variables: Enhanced the stability of environment variables in Liferay Cloud by ensuring that updates do not erase existing reserved environment variables. This update maintains consistent system configurations and prevents unintended service disruptions for users.
  • Autoscale Email Content Fix: Addressed an issue where autoscale email notifications failed to display the correct number of additional instances, ensuring accurate communication to users about their resource scaling activities.
