How do I generate a complimentary key?

As a Support Administrator to your project, you will have the option to download a complimentary key for any active product that you've purchased. 

  1. Go to Customer Portal and select the appropriate project.
  2. Navigate to the left sidebar and under Product Activation, select the appropriate product.
  3. Click on the Actions button in the right corner and select Generate New
  4. You’ll then be prompted to select the Product, Version and Key type
  5. Under Subscription, you'll be able to select a current subscription or select Complimentary
  6. After completing the form, your complimentary key will be listed as a single line item. 

 

Important Notes:

  • Each customer project is offered one free complimentary key. Any subsequent requests will require Sales approval. 
  • The complimentary key has a set instance sizing 4 and a duration of 30 days. 

    • If the start date is in the past, it cannot be more than 30 days earlier, to ensure the key is active.
