How do I renew an activation key?

As a Support Administrator for your project, you will have the option to renew one or more activation keys, within the available quantities for your subscription.

  1. Go to Customer Portal and select the appropriate project.
  2. Navigate to the left sidebar and under Product Activation, select the appropriate product.
  3. Click on the Actions button in the right corner and select Renew.
  4. You’ll then be prompted to select the activation keys to be renewed:
    • You can renew multiple keys at the same time only if they have the same product type and the same dates. If you select multiple keys with different product types or different dates, the Renew Keys button will be disabled.
  5. On the next page, you will be asked to select an active subscription:
    • The selected option must have a sufficient quantity of available keys.
    • If available, the complimentary option can be selected as well. In this case, on the next screen you will be asked to specify the start date and purpose of the complimentary key(s).
  6. On the last page you will see read-only fields with either the number of instances, or server details of the keys being renewed.
  7. After completing the form, your new activation keys will be listed in the Activation Keys table.

Important Notes

  • The option to Renew an activation key is only available for keys with expiration dates. If a key has a DNE - Does Not Expire value, it is not necessary to extend its duration.
