Liferay Subscription Services includes Support Services and a wide range of resources to help you successfully plan, deploy and manage your mission-critical projects from start to finish.
However, Support Services is not required to assist with code development, code implementation or architectural design. Assistance with code development or implementation includes direction on which APIs to use in order to accomplish a goal within Liferay Digital Experience Platform, Liferay Portal EE, or Liferay Commerce ("the product"), articulating the possible uses for specific APIs, instructions or assistance with API usage such as parameter formatting, and guidance on the implications of specific methods. Assistance with code development or implementation is considered training. Training resources for code development or implementation are available through Liferay Training or Liferay Global Services. Please consult your Account Executive or Customer Experience Manager for more information.
If a specific method is not functioning as intended, that issue will be resolved according to the Product Defects and Liferay API Issues policies. Liferay will resolve issues according to the intended functionality of the product. If custom development is utilizing the product in a way that leverages unintended functionality, it may be necessary to adjust the custom development.
