This article serves as a reference guide for how to set system wide properties through the system-ext.properties
file.
Similar to the relationship between the portal.properties
and portal-ext.properties
files, administrators can affect system wide changes in the system.properties
by modifying the system-ext.properties
file.
To make changes to system.properties
, create a file called system-ext.properties
and place it in a folder that resides in the platform installation's class path such as /WEB-INF/classes
.
Please note that LPS-56818 introduced a change where two properties have been renamed:
system.properties.load
is nowsystem.properties.set
.system.properties.final
is nowsystem.properties.set.override
.
Introductory notes in the system.properties
file have been be changed in Liferay DXP 7.0 Fix Pack 47.
