Blob Types Are Not Supported in Service Builder for Liferay Portal 6.1

Blob types are not supported in plugins created with the Service Builder in Liferay Portal 6.1.x

Resolution

A possible workaround could be use the Documents and Media services to store files or upgrade to Liferay Portal 6.2 EE

Regarding LPS-31186. This LPS cannot be back-ported as it would involve API changes that would cause issues. However, these code changes have been implemented in 6.2.x.
