How do I re-subscribe to Help Center announcements after opting out?

Issue

• How do I sign up for email notifications after I previously opted out?
• How do I re-subscribe to security and fix pack announcements?

Resolution

There are two options to re-subscribe to Help Center announcements:

Option 1: Update your email preferences through a old email in your inbox. 

1. Search for an old email from [e-mail] in your email inbox.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the email and click on email preferences. 

          

3. Uncheck "Yes, unsubscribe me from all emails." at the bottom of the page. Only check the "Support Announcements" value and leave all the others unchecked.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Update Email Preferences Now to save your changes.

Option 2: Navigate to the Help Center homepage to opt back in. 

1. If you are unable to find an old email in your inbox, visit the Help Center homepage and log-in.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Subscribe.

          

3. On the subscription page, enter your email address in the "Work Email" field. If you have previously opted out of all Liferay emails, you will see this message pop-up: "Looks like you've opted out of email communication. Click here to get an email and opt back in."
4. Click on the message link.

          

5. Check your email inbox for a new email entitled "Do you want to resubscribe to emails from Liferay?".
6. Open the email and click on the update your subscription preferences link.

          

7. Uncheck "Yes, unsubscribe me from all emails." at the bottom of the page. Only check the "Support Announcements" value and leave all the others unchecked.
8. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Update Email Preferences Now to save your changes.
