How to force syncing between Liferay DXP and Analytics Cloud?

Issue

• You want to force a sync at any given time

Environment

• Liferay DXP
• Analytics Cloud

Resolution

• The only way to force sync is to update the AC contacts configuration, as per described here.
  • If syncing all contacts:
    Uncheck Sync all contacts → Save → check Sync all contacts → Save
    
    
  • If syncing by organizations/user groups: Save

Warning: this will force a sync of pending data and re-sync contacts, so if you have many users, expect it to take a while.
