Saving Site Settings - Languages takes a long time

Issue

• The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
  1. Go to configuration then select site setting.
  2. Select Define a custom default language and additional available languages for this site.
  3. Click on save.
  Result: It takes a long time to complete saving the changes.

 

Environment

• Liferay DXP 7.3

 

Resolution

• The fix LPS-161362 is meant to skip private pages during layout model contribution, so it may boost the performance with it installed. Please request a hotfix to include this fix or install 7.3 Update 12.
