Product comparison bar not removing after refresh

Issue

• The product comparison widget bar is not removed after the refresh
• Steps to reproduce:
  1) Created two simple products
  2) Navigate to Minum Site and drag the 'Product Comparison Bar' on this page.
  3) Now, try to compare any products by selecting 2-3 products
  4) It was still available after reloading the same page. The selected products with the product comparison bar are still visible after pressing the back button.
  Expected Behavior: It should be removed from the page if you refresh it or hit the back button.

Environment

• Liferay DXP 7.4 [all versions]
• Commerce 4.0 

Resolution

• The expected behavior is not feasible here as this is intended behavior and can't be considered a bug as the site 'remembers' which products users have added to the comparison table so they can compare different products from different pages while browsing.
  • The reason is that the site remembers the product in the comparison bar when they go to another page and then come back to the catalog, so users can browse other pages and then come back to it without losing anything or even browse other pages and compare with products from other pages in the catalog. Since reloading the page is basically just reaccessing the catalog link, there's no reason to remove the products. If this functionality is added, it would be applied to other forms of page-switching as well. For example, compare a product on the first catalog page with a product on the second page.
  • Therefore, if the user wants to remove the items in the comparison bar, the correct way to do that would be to remove them by clicking on the red 'X'.
