Gradle PKIX Certification Error for Maven Policy

Issue

• We are configuring a new environment and observing what looks to be a gradle license or certification related issue given the below error:

openssl config failed system library no such process

Failure build failed with an exception
A problem occurred configuring root project ‘s’
Could not resolve artifacts
Unable to laid maven meta-data
Could not head maven xml file
PKIX path building failed unable to find valid certification path to…
sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException
ERROR: The process azure agent failed with exit code 1

Environment

• DXP 7.2

Resolution

• You can whitelist repo.maven.apache.org on the server.
