Saving Site Settings with thousands of pages takes a long time and stops with a time out error

Issue

• We made a change in Configuration > Site Settings and then clicked on Save.
• After processing for for a long time the portal returns a time out message and the change is not saved.
• We currently have more than 25 thousand pages related to our site.

Environment

• Liferay DXP 7.2
• Liferay DXP 7.3

Resolution

• Please install Liferay DXP 7.2 Fix Pack 15+ 
• Or request a Hotfix with the LPS-136022
