Database Templates

This document has been updated and ported to Liferay Learn and is no longer maintained here.

Below are templates (example portal properties) for configuring various databases as a built-in data source for Liferay DXP.

Note: The Liferay DXP Compatibility Matrix specifies supported databases and environments.

MariaDB

jdbc.default.driverClassName=org.mariadb.jdbc.Driver

MySQL

Note: MySQL Connector/J 8.0 is highly recommended for use with MySQL Server 8.0 and 5.7.
