Site Facet is not working properly

Issue

• Steps to reproduce

  • Create the sites - site 1, site 2, site 3.

  • Create the page named "search"

  • Drag the "search result" and "site facet" portlet to enable search on this page.

  • Search for any site.

    Expected Behavior: A list of matched keyword/list of all sites should be available to select the search scope.
    Observed Behavior: The list of sites/options are not showing to select the site scope.

Environment

• Liferay 7.2

Resolution

• By default, the scope of "Search Bar" is set to "This Site".

• Therefore, for the "Site Facet" to display multiple sites, the Search Bar must be configured to search Everything.
