Issue
- Document previews do not seem to be generated, we keep seeing the "Generating preview will take a few minutes" message. No errors in the logs.
- How can I troubleshoot or get more logs about what is happening during preview generation, what could go wrong?

- 7.4
Resolution
- In Control Panel/Server Administration/Logs, raise the log level to DEBUG for the following entries:
com.liferay.portal.util.FileImpl
com.liferay.document.library
com.liferay.portlet.documentlibrary
com.liferay.portal.store
com.liferay.adaptive.media
and then test again and check the logs. (You might also want to reset preview and thumbnails fro existing documents: see https://help.liferay.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018669451-What-is-the-significance-of-Reset-preview-and-thumbnail-file-for-Documents-and-Media-option-)
