Publication Date of a WebContent to be "Publish to Live" directly

Issue

• We published a WebContent directly live via Content & Data -> Web Content -> Specific WebContent -> Burger Menu -> Publish to Live

  • When publishing a WebContent like this, there is no entry in "Publishing -> Staging" listed, also the JournalArticle entity on live has the same createdDate as the JournalArticle on staging.
  • How can we find out when (date/time) this WebContent was published? Is it possible with a SQL query to figure out when exactly the specific WebContent was published to live?

Resolution

• When publishing single web content from the web content administration, it is possible to check the date/time details of the publication via the UI by performing the following:
   
  
  • After publishing to live, we go back to web content admin.
  • Click on the 3 dot menu on the top right and select "Staging".
  • In the Staging popup select the option "Current and Previous"
  • Now we can see the details of the published content are listed, with the Create and Completion dates of the publication.
    
    From the database, it is not possible to check the single published web content, as it is not possible from the UI, There is a feature request LPS-161582 in order to improve this functionality on the UI and display the web content details as well.
