Resolution

• Prior to Liferay Portal 6.1, there were two ways of creating sites: organizations and communities: Creating Sites
• You can create a Community Site in DXP 7.4: Creating Your First Site
• Regarding Liferay versions in between, it is not an official name for any of the features.
• It can also refer to the Message Boards portlet.
