Issue
- Content is stored in Web Contents not on pages > navigation menu items are created as URLs, in most cases, because of this
- The Web Contents are translated/using more than one language (at least 2) > can only add the URL in one language to the navigation menu items (created as URLs)
Environment
- DXP 7.2
Resolution
- Use these two steps:
- Specify every translation on the Web Content Article level (title, content, description) and on the Navigation Menu URL level (name) > The path of the URL remain unchanged
- the article and the navigation element will be translated to the user's language configuration
Additional Information
- In case you want to make sure, you can add a Language Selector Widget to any Page and Display Page Template, as well
