class="sr-only"elements can be observed in the HTML of my pages.
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.3+
Resolution
- Does not need to be removed and it is not malicious.
- It is implemented by the changes made on LPS-118487 and it is a product improvement for accessibility readers.
- sr-only tags are screenreader only tags. See https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/utilities/screenreaders/
Additional Information
- According to this article https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-using-hidden-text-for-screen-readers-will-not-hurt-rankings/294605/#close, Google states that hidden text for screen readers should not impact negatively your search rankings.
