Importing LAR using "Copy as New" option does not create a new copy of it

Issue

When exporting a Web Content article as a .LAR file and importing it through a Web Content Display widget using the "Copy as New" option the imported one mirrors the changes of the original article if it gets edited.

Environment

DXP 7.4

Resolution

The reported issue was resolved by LPS-182522 and a hotfix should be requested from Liferay Support if needed.
Upgrading to DXP 7.4 U75 should also solve this issue.
