Issue
"No User exists with role Administrator" error is seen when upgrading major Liferay versions, as follows:
ERROR [main][VerifyProcessTrackerOSGiCommands:323] null com.liferay.portal.verify.VerifyException: com.liferay.portal.kernel.exception.NoSuchUserException: No user exists in company 12345 with role Administrator
Environment
DXP 7.4, DXP 7.3, DXP 7.2
Resolution
It is required that at least one user has the Administrator role before performing the upgrade.
If the Liferay install has virtual instances, there must be at least one Administrator user per virtual instances.
