Redirect is not going to expected site page after configuring friendly URL

Issue

• After configuring a friendly URL for my instance Home Page, the redirect is not going to the expected site page.

Environment

• DXP 7.2
• DXP 7.3
• DXP 7.4

Resolution

• In order to achieve the expected page redirect the Instance Home URL must be configured as well.
