Issue
- Upgrading to DXP 74U82+ hangs in ExportImportServiceConfigurationUpgradeProcess (v1.0.2) upgrade process:

- DXP 7.4 U82+
- DB Upgrade Client
Resolution
- The ExportImportServiceConfigurationUpgradeProcess process is hanging due to unresolved dependencies between pending modules that need to be updated.

It occurs when the following system settings is updated:
- Control Panel →Configuration →System Settings → Infrastructure →Export/Import
First option: Upgrade to a Quarterly Release or above U96
- This issue was resolved in U96+ and in the Quarterly Releases.
Second option: Upgrading first to U81
If your target upgrade is a 7.4 version below U96, perform the upgrade in two steps, using the U81 as a middle step:
- Prepare your source environment (e.g. Liferay DXP 7.2).
- Perform then upgrade to Liferay DXP U81.
- Then, perform the upgrade to the destination environment Liferay DXP U82+.
This solution should be considered as a workaround to bypass the internal dependencies.

- This issue was resolved by LPS-195670, which was released in U96
