After upgrade the method .getDisplayDate() is not working

Issue

• After performing an upgrade, when trying to use the.getDisplayDate() method in the widget template, errors are returned.

Environment

• Liferay DXP 7.2-7.4

Resolution

• The .getDisplayDate() method has been deprecated as of DXP 7.2, according to the following documentation: Method Summary with no direct replacement, for the case, the ideal is to evaluate the available methods and identify one that can be used.
