Unable to select display template in Placed Order widget

Issue

  • If the user selects a different display template in the placed order widget, it shows the same default one after saving.
  • Steps to reproduce:
    1. Start Liferay DXP 7.4.
    2. Navigate to Design > Templates > Widget Templates.
    3. Click on Add and select Placed Order Template.
    4. Provide any content in it.
    5. Now, drag and drop the Placed Order widget on the page.
    6. Click on the configurations and select the created display template.
    7. Click Save.
    Actual Results: As soon as the user saves the configurations, the display template is redirected to 'default'.
    Expected Results: Placed order configurations must save the display template of user preference.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4
  • Commerce 4.0

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known issue/bug.
  • If a hotfix is required for this issue, please create a support ticket requesting a hotfix by attaching patch details.
