Authorization and Javascript recovery from the backend

Issue

  • I've added the wrong javascript to a particular page, and now I can't login normally (SSO is possible).

  • Is it possible to grant admin rights to a normal user by operating from the backend ?

  • I want to remove the javascript in question in the backend, is there a way to do that?

Environment

  • Liferay Portal 6.2, Liferay DXP 7.0, Liferay DXP 7.1

Resolution

  • The page configuration is stored in the Layout table, and the detailed configuration information is managed in "Layout.typeSettings".
You may be able to adjust the settings for the custom login page in question by editing them directly in the database.(Please note that direct editing of the database is not recommended).

  • By using the API, you can also grant administrative privileges to specific users from the outside.
It is assumed that "set-role-users" is available.
Please refer to the "Role_" table for the role ID.
Please refer to the "Users_Roles" table for information on the roles held by users.
*A user with administrative privileges is required to execute the API.
