The preview component of the Info Panel shows a broken image preview

Issue

• Invalid preview for non-image files in Info Panel
  Steps to reproduce:
  1) Upload a non-image file to Documents and Media, such as; a PDF file
  2) Navigate to the Content Dashboard in Menu > Applications
  3) Click the info icon in the row of the uploaded file (appears on hover)
  Observed Behavior: The preview component of the Info Panel shows a broken image preview
  Expected Behavior: The preview component should not render or should render a default icon

Environment

• Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

• The observed behavior is a known DXP bug which is addressed in DXP 7.4 update 35.

Additional Information

• If the hotfix is required for this issue, please create a support ticket requesting the hotfix by attaching the patch details.
• Installing Fix Packs and Hotfixes on Liferay DXP will guide to installation of the hotfix in the respective environment.
